ART I EVERYWHERE + PHYSICIANS FOR PEACE
For more than 20 years, Physicians for Peace has mobilized volunteers to educate, train, empower and support healthcare professionals working in vulnerable populations around the world. On missions, you’ll find volunteer physicians, surgeons, nurses, midwives, therapists and psychologists - along with photographers, tasked with the challenge of documenting our work. These photos speak to the inspirational outcomes of our missions and represent our vision for a healthier world. Taken between 2006 and 2010, the individual photos come from missions in Haiti, Morocco and Rwanda. As a collection, the photos emphasize the rich and lasting connections between people, rather than the differences.
