Give in Tribute
Make your contribution personal and special by giving a donation in tribute of a loved one or in celebration of an anniversary, birthday, or other special occasion. Wedding Registry
Getting married? Now you can support Physicians for Peace by registering with the I Do Foundation. From honeymoons to invitations to wedding gifts to charitable wedding favors, the I Do Foundation
allows couples and their guests to make wedding related purchases that generate donations for charity. The I Do Foundation's Charity Registry service also makes it easy for guests to make donations in lieu of gifts. All of these services are available free of cost at www.idofoundation.org. Gifts of Stock, Bonds, Mutual Funds
Giving long-term appreciated stock allows you to avoid paying capital gains tax on the increase in value of your stock and lets you receive a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock donated. Gifts of Real Estate
If you have owned your home, a vacation home, acreage or a farm for many years, a charitable gift of that real estate would result in a sizeable capital gains tax reduction. Please call our Development

Gifts of Life Insurance
If you own a life insurance policy that is no longer needed, please consider donating it to Physicians for Peace. To do so, call our Development Department at 757-625-7569.

Life Income Gifts
A life income gift allows you to transfer assets now and yet continue to receive income from the cash, stock or other property contributed. To establish a life income gift, call our Development Department at 757-625-7569.

Bequests
The federal estate tax can still take approximately 40% to 50% of one’s estate at the time of death. It pays to do advance planning with your attorney and other professional advisors. Take the first step by naming Physicians for Peace as beneficiary in your will, retirement plan, or life insurance policy. To make a bequest, call our Development Department at 757-625-7569.

Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate Sponsorship of Physicians for Peace missions, programs, or events allows corporations to have a visible effect in the developing world. For more information, call our Development Department at 757-625-7569.

Grants
Physicians for Peace receives grants from many foundations for our work around the world. If your foundation or organization would like to receive information about making a grant to Physicians for Peace, contact our Development Department at 757-625-7569.

Vehicles for Charity Donation
Instead of selling, trading or storing your vehicle, you can make a donation and receive a tax deduction.You can donate now. Just complete the Vehicles for Charity online form or you may call 1-800-833-3006 or 1-866-628-2277 to complete your donation. It is simple and easy. They make all arrangements.

Federal Workers
Federal workers may now give to Physicians for Peace through the Combined Federal Campaign by designating a portion of each paycheck as a donation. The Physicians for Peace Combined Federal Campaign code is 12339. For more information, contact the Human Resources or Payroll office at your place of employment.
