OUR BASIC THREE

Since 1989, Physicians for Peace has delivered education, training, and millions of dollars in medical supplies and equipment to healthcare teams in underserved regions. We’ve developed three broad strategies, which serve as the backbone of our outreach efforts. When combined, these strategies create an adaptable model that lets us meet targeted training needs across medical specialties.

TEACH COLLABORATE SUSTAIN
Our teaching model is an effective combination of hands-on and didactic training to help healthcare teams understand the how and the why of each new technique.
 		 In all of our initiatives, we work closely with local partners and medical experts from the international community to assess and meet a community’s immediate training needs and set future goals.
 		 We provide resources that are scarce in the developing world. We work to identify appropriate equipment, policies and curriculum to develop local capacity and best practices.
